In these introductory courses, students will be taught the groundwork of painting with realism and impact, and will also be taught reliable methods of building ideas from scratch. Introduction To Digital painting

DESCRIPTION

Introduction to Digital Painting is an all-purpose starting point for the aspiring or beginner digital painter and will teach the core concepts needed to depict a broad variety of subjects: people, vehicles, plants, animals and atmospheres. The course will begin with the basic perspectives and skills needed to understand light, form, tone and colour, before moving onto subject-specific tasks that will outfit the student with the methods to depict virtually any subject. The course is also an introduction to Adobe Photoshop CC 2019.

DESCRIPTION

Introduction to Digital Illustration is a crash course in communicating clear ideas and narratives with digitally painted images. Gesture, narrative, composition, perspective, design and visual appeal are covered in addition to research, reference and planning methods. Different illustration scenarios will be explored and illustration history will be briefly covered.

Introduction to Concept Art is a crash course in visual design for pop culture media: games, animation, comics, toys, television and film. The course will introduce students to the principles of design, ideation methods, and the utilisation of aspects of history, culture and symbolism in design processes.
